Tango argentino courses
The Tango & Me Association was formally founded a few years ago, but its members have, on average, many years of dance experience and continuous learning. In addition to our regular weekly dance evenings, we travel and dance around the world - from Zadar, Rijeka, Dubrovnik and Zagreb as the closest destinations in Croatia, through neighbouring countries and all the way to Buenos Aires. We selflessly share all these experiences with everyone who would like to become a part of our scene.
Tango is a dance of improvisation, beautiful and complex, and therefore learning never ends. Repeating the basics, honing movements and adding new possibilities leads to greater pleasure in the common step, and the learning process itself is inseparable from the pleasure of dancing.

We are all in a constant process of improvement and it is not uncommon for total beginners and long-time dancers to find themselves together on a beginner's course.
Learning is done on "practicas", at least once a week, when we hang out, dance correct and connect - all in the embrace and good vibe.
There are also workshops organized for intermediate/advanced dancers when guest teachers come from, most often, Zagreb (it's always good to get a different approach), and finally famous and recognized dancers and teachers from abroad, often from Argentina.
Free Beginners' Course - There is a saying "El tango te espera", meaning "Tango is waiting for you". If it's not meant to be, you will just walk through the first workshops and leave. And that's okay. If you stay, there is a good chance that you will stay for a long time, maybe even for life.
Anyways, give it a chance, because it takes time... You'll become part of a world that is recognized anywhere on the globe, a world where words are not needed because you speak the universal language of tango, where a look and a hug have a completely different dimension and meaning.
Maja, Katarina and Robi have over 40 years of dance experience in total :-) and are most certainly qualified to prepare you for your first steps in that world.
